It seems that sightings of snowy owls this season in Wisconsin are much higher than in previous years. The reason? A drop in the number of lemmings, the owl’s primary food source, in the Arctic Tundra. This happens every few years and is a natural occurrence. Kind of wish I was in Wisconsin right now.

This site has some fabulous photos and newspaper clippings dealing with the BA Military Mk V Roadster bicycle. The bike sported a special clip to carry a rifle and was used during WWII. Worth checking out.

Upcoming Committee Meeting :: Call for Volunteers
On August, 3rd the Chittenango Creek Chapter of DU will meet to finalize plans for the upcoming Sportsman’s Night Out to be held at the Bridgeport Firehouse. We’re making a call out to all who would be interested in volunteering with DU and our committee. Interested parties should email me at ducky9658 at gmail.com or send me a tweet @duckyinfo.
We’ll be meeting in Chittenango at the Hunt Real Estates Offices. Afterwards we’ll conclude with a team building event at one of the local bars.
