About

Our chapter was founded in 2003 and as of 2010 the Chittenango Creek Chapter of DU has helped to preserve over 150 acres of wetlands.  Through our annual dinner banquets, numerous raffle events, and our placement of SBA prints we raise money and awareness for Ducks Unlimited.

We encourage all visitors to our site to locate their nearest DU chapter and help support a worthy cause.  You can help by donating money, attending one of our events, buying raffle tickets, and much more.  Or you can show your support by becoming a volunteer with a DU chapter near you.

Keep up the great work! Love the website. I hope more chapters create their own site. Lack of information about chapter goings on has been a problem for me here in the Tall Corn State – this method could help a lot. Mike in Iowa

Thanks for encouragement. It is still a work in progress as I pull committee members onto the site as authors/contributors, and we all learn about the inner workings of WordPress. Do keep an eye on our site and submit feedback. We would love any information that would help to pull more eye-balls here.

So should I contact the Indianapolis chapter about creating a word press?

      Hi Duckman90,

Sorry, the address I gave was a little off but it looks like you found us alright. If you want to contact the Indianapolis chapter that’s fine. But we’re up in Chittenango, NY. It’s a town right outside of Syracuse. A suburb really. But the locals don’t use the term suburb.

But yea. If you wouldn’t mind putting your keyboard skills to use and come up with something. Or reuse something you already have. We could add you as a contributor to our site. What interests you besides the outdoors, DU, conservation and the like? Are you a hunter? Not that you have to be a hunter. I’m definitely not a hunter. My brother-in-law convinced me to join the committee as the Treasurer and I’ve been at it ever since. The fact that DU is such a worthy organization is what keeps me at it.

Reply to this comment in private and we’ll start a dialog and get you connected to the site as contributor.
