Watching Our Researchers Like a Hawk « Library of Congress Blog.

The link above will take you to the Library of Congress’ website where they discuss a new visitor to their reading room.  Seems that a Cooper Hawk — identified by crowdsourcing, but isn’t fully established — has decided to take refuge from the cold by occupying the reading room in the LOC.

Have patrons been dived bombed? Apparently not, but there is hope that some added excitement might happen in the library that boasts the world’s largest comic book collection.  (Truly, they do have the most comic books in one location in the entire world. You should check it out sometime. Pretty cool.)

If you’re in the area you should stop by and see if you can catch a glimpse of this visitor in the rafters.  Do it quick before they find a way to get the bird out of there.
