Oil From Michigan Spill Could Threaten Important Wetlands.

A ruptured pipeline dumped oil into a creek that feeds into the Kalamazoo River, which in turn feeds into Lake Michigan.  The oil spill threatens wetland habitat. and DU is already in the fight to clean up and preserve the habitat.

The spill occurred on July 26th, 2010 when an Enbridge oil pipeline emptied oil into the Talmadge Creek.
