Urban Exploration Database

Urban Exploration Database.

Have you ever been driving a back road somewhere or hiking a foot path when you turn a corner and there it is?  An abandoned structure from a bygone era sits moldering among overgrown trees, grass, and wild flowers.  Ever want to take a peek inside or research the place a bit?

It might not even be a building in the country, but a long forgotten factory that sits at the edge of town, a place where few remember the how & why it got the way it is.

There’s a beauty in decay and for the armchair explorer this database can be a starting point to see some of it.  (Safely, without the worry of poison ivy or the threat of arrest for trespassing.)

Decay is truly beautiful. And the histories of lost buildings can be fascinating. That page is great.
