Scientists Scramble to Steer Migrating Birds Away From Gulf Oil Sill – NYTimes.com.

The link above is a NY Times article discussing what is being done to help migratory waterfowl who will be impacted by the Gulf Oil Spill this fall.  In essence there’s a mad scramble underway by everyone to return lost habitat back into wetlands for migratory species.  The hope too is that impacted species in current wetlands can migrate as well to the new habitats.
